Sept. 9, 2025—Representatives from D &E Tire, Paul Richard Electric and Kreative Concepts visited the staff at Truitt Middle School on Sept. 3 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnerships with the campus.
CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Graciela Guajardo Olvera, owner of D&E Tire, voiced her excitement for adopting Truitt.
“I am very excited to adopt Truitt,” Guajardo Olvera said. “I’m happy to give back to the campus that gives so much to my children and also to be a part of the CFISD community.”

Paul Arguelles, owner of Paul Richard Electric, expressed how important it is to give back to the Truitt community.
“We want to pay it forward to the teachers and staff at Truitt,” Arguelles said. “We appreciate everything that they do for students, and we just want to show support in any way that we can.”

“It’s important to us at Kreative Concepts to give students a chance that we didn’t have when we were younger,” Campos said. “We look forward to working with Dr. Williams to see how we can achieve that goal.”
Dr. Plas Williams, Truitt principal, expressed his gratitude for D&E Tire, Paul Richard Electric and Kreative Concepts for adopting Truitt.
“We are thrilled to welcome our newest campus partners at Truitt Middle School,” Dr. Williams said. “Their commitment to supporting education and investing in our students’ success is truly inspiring. Partnerships like these strengthen our school community and provide meaningful opportunities for our students and staff.
